Neaners Garcia

Former gang member with over twenty years experience in juvenile institutions, county jail, maximum-security prisons and solitary confinement. Neaners is now living out the dream he had while in "the hole": reaching back to the hidden prison tiers, cells, and impoverished streets with the same love that found him there. Neaners embodies a unique story and possesses a fresh voice of hope to prisoners, gangs, churches, and civic leadership alike, helping those both above ground and below rediscover each other.

Chris Hoke

For over twelve years, Chris has been a gang pastor and chaplain in Skagit County Jail, Juvenile Detention, and several WA State prisons. Formerly with Tierra Nueva, he cofounded Underground Coffee, a coffee roasting enterprise connecting those leaving incarceration with churches, businesses, and agricultural partners in Honduras. Chris is also a teaching member of the Underground Writing team, and author of WANTED.
